List of Problems

1. it says can't find unzip program in programs.exe
2. Can't download off the net
3. When I try to unzip, It says Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid Archive

Resolution (11/13/98)

This is an AOL specific error.  I suspect there was a problem with AOL's built-in unzipping program.  I suggest looking in your AOL40\Download folder to find the stw9x12.zip file and unzip it with another program like PKunzip or WinZip.

Can't download off the net

I double clicked on the download symbol of the full version, and ikeeps telling me it is out of run time

I suspect that the file actually downloaded was stw9x12.zip which was simply a zipped text file saying that you should download the new version stw9x121.zip.  There is no time bomb in Star Trek, I want everyone to enjoy the game without worrying about when it was installed.

Double click on zip file

It says "Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid Archive Press F1 for help"

Found no help in F1 or in previous problems

This sounds like it might not have finished downloading the file. Try downloading it again. If you still have problems, let me know and I can e-mail the file to you.
